Despite rave reviews, Fifty Shades of Grey movie became blockbuster and now its sequel Fifty Shades Darker is reported to be in the works. According to rumors, the book's author E.L. James is planning on having a bigger hand in writing the film's script.

Reportedly, the movie will not be available until next year as Sam Taylor-Johnson have decided not to direct the second movie after having conflicting views with James during the filming of the first installment.

The film can be expected to be out by 2017. Despite delays the film's executives are making sure that this will push through.

The original lead stars are expected to be around and reportedly Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey) and Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) have already signed on a contract to do the sequel.

According to the book, Anastasia is learning more of Christian's past including the women he had sexual relationships with who keep on confronting her. Grey also proposes marriage to Anastasia.

However, the mammoth task ahead for Universal Pictures is to hire a director.
