Now that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are already 6 months old, rumors surrounding the next version of iPhones have already started appearing. If latest rumors are to be believed, Apple is working on a third mysterious model of the iPhone, other than iPhone 6S and iPhone 6s Plus.

Citing leaks from Apple's supply chain, WSJ earlier this month reported that the next version of iPhone might sport the Force Touch, allowing smartphone's display to know the difference between a short tap and a long press. Force touch is already being used in the Apple smartwatch.

The next iteration of iPhone is also expected to have better camera. The company was recently granted a patent for a "digital camera with light splitter." This technology would allow the camera to split light into red, green and blue components, eliminating the need for color filters and making photos clearer and sharper.

According to Apple Insider, the next iPhones will have Apple SIM installed. This would allow users to sign up for mobile data plans from any carrier just by going into the Settings menu. Apple has already introduced this in iPad Air 2.

Apple is also rumored to launch an iPhone 6C, a possibly cheaper device with 4-inch display. Rumors added that new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will have displays sourced from Japan Display and LG Display, while the C model will be sourced from Sharp.
