Devon Still's daughter Leah Still is now in remission after fighting cancer for nearly a year.

ABC News reported that 4-yeare old Leah was diagnosed with stage 4 nueroblastoma a rare pediatric cancer. She was given a 50 percent survival chance last May. After 10 months of treatment, doctors declared Leah had entered remission, without any active trace of cancer.

"Today we received news from Leah's oncologist that her cancer, stage-four neuroblastoma, is officially in REMISSION! After 296 days of day dreaming about what it would feel like to hear the doctors say my daughter is in remission, I finally know the feeling," Devon Still wrote to his Instagram account with a photo his daughter.

Still wrote that his daughter was still not done with treatments and has to build her immune system that has suffered damage following chemo. He was hopeful his daughter will sail through.

His team Cincinnati Bengals extended Still's contract for a year which the player signed last week. Still's professional career took a setback following elbow and back injuries last year. It was during his time off the game, Leah's diagnosis was confirmed.

"Thank you to the Bengals for taking on my situation and standing by me and my family and for helping to raise money to fight pediatric cancer," Devon said in his post.
