Vizio introduced a new range of 4K televisions , the P-Series brand, with the latest technology starting at $1,000.

The television market has exploded with continuous technological growth that offers the highest standard of viewing experience. The introduction of 4K technology in TVs gave the entire industry a boost with major TV-making companies adopting the new standard although the latest tech comes at a very high price. Vizio, the maker of affordable flat screen television sets, expands its TV lineup with all-new 4K televisions that will not break our banks.

Vizio grabbed wide attention for its brand when it unveiled the affordable P-Series of 4K LCD TVs at the CES this year. The company showed various screen sizes, all packed with Ultra HD resolution at 3, 840 x 2,160 pixels. Vizio added extra perks to the newly launched TV sets like full-array backlight panels  with local dimming, Active Pixel Tuning technology and Advanced Color Management for more accurate colors.

The P-Series TVs come in five different screen sizes, 50-inch to 70 inches, each with 5-inch difference. The pricing is the most attractive part of these TVs, which start at $1,000 for the 50-inch model, $1,400 for the 55-inches, $1,800 for 60 inches, $2,200 for 65-inches and finally $2,600 for the 70 incher, the company revealed in an official press release. Compare that with the cheapest 4K TV available in the market, Seiki's 50-inch SE50UY04 costs $1,500.

All TV sets in the P-Series are powered by a "V6 six-core processor, comprised of a quad-core GPU plus dual-core CPU, to deliver advanced graphics processing and even faster smart TV user experience," Vizio explained.

"The VM50 Ultra HD motion and picture-processing engine enhances every Ultra HD image with incredible detail.  At the pixel level, the Pure Pixel Processing Engine (P3E) further enhances sharp detail and gamma control, while reducing noise and artifacts caused by scaling, compression and video devices," the company added.

Among other features, the new TVs also sport HEVC H.265 codec and 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, essential for streaming online content like Netflix's 4K Ultra HD content. The company also plans to add more streaming services, including UltraFlix3 and Amazon Instant Video, to support the 4K standard later this year.

The full range of P-Series TVs can be found on Vizio's official store where customers can also place their orders.
