The Islamic State Monday asked its followers to attack citizens of America, France and other countries which have joined the international collation to annihilate the jihadist group.

"If you can kill a disbelieving American or European -- especially the spiteful and filthy French -- or an Australian, or a Canadian or any other disbeliever ... including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him, Islamic State spokesman Abu Muhammad al Adnani told the militant group's followers, reports Voice of America.

"Kill the disbeliever whether he is civilian or military," Adnani said in the message, carried by the SITE monitoring website.

The Islamic State spokesman said that the military action taken against the group by the United States and its allies would be the final campaign of the crusaders.

Adnani said that the Islamic group will defeat the United States led collation in the same way the U.S. campaigns in the past were defeated,

In his statement, Adnani mocked Obama by calling him a mule of the Jews. On Obama's statement that America would not conduct a war involving ground troops, Adnani said that the United States would be forced to conduct ground combat and this will ultimately lead to its destruction, reports Voice of America.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday discussed with his Security Council the possibilities of cooperation with other countries on fighting the Islamic State.

"Permanent members of the Security Council exchanged opinions on possible forms of cooperation with other partners on a plan to counter Islamic State in the framework of international law," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov ,reports Reuters citing Russian News agency, Interfax.

Russia still has not responded to the U.S. call to form an international collation to fight against the Islamic State.
