The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has started an investigation about allegations that the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity drugged female students at parties hosted by the fraternity.

The school administration announced that the university has suspended the fraternity and an investigation is being conducted. The national TKE organization also said that Zeta-Zeta chapter at UW-Milwaukee has been suspended, The Huffington Post  reported.

The UW-Milwaukee Police has arrested a student, but he wasn't charged. The name of the suspect wasn't released. The police said they are waiting for the investigation and the review by the district attorney.

Currently, the school administration, the school police and the national TKE organization are cooperating to find the truth about the allegations.

The party took place at the fraternity house on Oakland Avenue on September 12. According to the Huffington Post, female students were allegedly marked with color coded Xs on their hands and date rape drugs were mixed into their drinks.

At least three women and one man who attended the party weren't able to walk and they reported vomiting, feeling sick, and a weird sensation right before they passed out.

They needed to be hospitalized.

The females had red X marked on their hands while the male student had a black X. He said that he was given the same color of cups.

Some other students who were also at the party reported that cups were put under the bar to prepare the drinks and vodka shots were cloudy, which is not ordinary.

A male student, W.M JR, who didn't want to show his face and give his full name in fear of reprisal, said that one of his female friends was at the party. She reported seeing unsavory behavior that made her feel uncomfortable, the Huffington Post reported.

Another student, when asked about the allegations, stated that she wouldn't be surprised if they happen to be true. She said she attended one of the fraternity's parties two years ago and she didn't sense they had the best of intentions.
