American Horror Story Update: Jessica Lange Confirms Freak Show Is Her Last Season

American Horror Story actress Jessica Lange has confirmed that she will be leaving the American Horror Story on Sunday at the movie series' panel at the PaleyFest in Los Angeles. Further, the actress said that 'Freak Show' would be her last in the movie franchise by Ryan Murphy, Huffington Post said.

"Yes, I'm done. We've had a great run here. I absolutely love doing these four characters, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it."

"I've done four great characters. It's enough," the actress said as cited by Mail Online.

Though Lange is leaving, the AHS management teased that the new season entitled "Hotel" will welcome new members of the team, E! Online reports.

In the new season, Matt Bomer from the NBC series Chuck  and has appeared in Freak Show as a prostitute who was killed by Dandy is expected to join with other newcomers, the multi-talented singer-songwriter-actor Cheyenne Jackson from Glee and 30 Rock.

Both newcomers are also said to have worked with Ryan Murphy before.

According to Hollywood Reporter, one of the highlights of the coming season 5 is the presence of Lady Gaga who is plotted to have a relationship with Matt Bomer's character.

"I can't confirm or deny that there may be a romantic relationship," Bomer said.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Jackson said that he still has no idea what his character would be but he is "ready to jump in."

Plot details for the upcoming season are still scarce as of the moment.
