Harrison Ford Hospitalized After Crash Landing on Golf Course

Actor Harrison Ford has been hospitalized after crash landing an airplane he was flying on a golf course.

Sputnik reports that the crash took place outside of Los Angeles, CA. The 72 year-old Hollywood icon is was initially said to have been in critical condition on arriving to the hospital. He is now said to be in fair condition.

Miraculously, two doctors were playing golf at the time of the crash. They were able to treat Ford immediately at the scene.

Ford left the course conscious and breathing, according to Sputnik. Ford's injuries are reported to be cuts to his head. It is not known what other injuries he may have suffered in the crash landing. He was taken to UCLA Hospital for treatment.

The plane crashed shortly after taking off from the Santa Monica Airport.

Ford is known for his passion for the skies, and this is actually not the first time he's been involved in a plane crash. In 2000, he crashed his plane as he was flying over the farmlands of Nebraska. Ford crashed again in 2009 as he was on a training flight.

Although in his seventies, the actor has continued to remain busy. Ford recently signed onto do a sequel to the iconic 1982 science fiction film Blade Runner. He also recently appeared in 2014's The Expendables 3.
